Everything you say is perfectly true - a point I have made many times that this forum is all but irrelevant, except with the very vocal few - but I still lurk here and there for reasons not even clear to me... The fact that just today we have won 2 Golds and a Silver in our very own sport seems to have passed without comment... Still, if you want things to change, then you have to make the effort yourself. |

Forum used to be very good, unfortunately there are about half a dozen very negative posters, who, think they are being clever and relevant by jumping on the slightest thing, becomes very wearing when you have to think about every post you make, takes the spontaneity out of posting.

Oh Dear.. will we miss him? Probably not, but it is a shame he felt that annoyed with the few of us that do still post here, to f**k us off.
Largely it probably is redundant, but I've yet to find a fb page for instance where the discussion gets even mildly provocative. Even though we are all t**sers to most yottie folk, we're 'our' t**sers, and everyone will be missed when they leave. Pity. What is it with people these days, not agreeing to differ? |

Just a thought, but maybe the place for discussions of the Olympics is the Olympic Sailing forum rather than Dinghy Development??
