A protest seemed harsh at first when there were safety aspects concerned but having seen the "facts found" he does seem to be bang to rights.

Not sure what basis he has for an appeal.

Tough race on lots of counts.

	I Agree When I first read this on the VDG website, I thought harsh in the extreme. When I read the facts, I have to say Fair. When you sign up to the race you agree to abide by the rules You can manipulate them to your advantage - Formula 1 do it for a living You can be caught out by them and get kicked from the race - as Bernard has been Harsh - Yes Fair - Yes

	So he's going to get refuelled, what happens to the re-opening of the protest? Does it still happen? The principle where does he get disqualified from - New Zealand or Cape Horn?

	I'd guess he'd rather the protest appel be succesful and bow out with a retirement (for the refuelling) than a DSQ.
