I did suggest a BM as a choice, especially as Hunts is anticipating a moth invasion for the winter (better than killer shrimp I suppose) but I think she is allergic to wooden boats .  I don't suppose my lot set the best example...

edited to say that a quick glance at apollo duck shows two grp versions for sale...

Plenty of glass BMs around, though not necessarily for sale currently, of course. Trouble is, the old ones are heavy and the newer ones aren't old enough to be cheap. If condition doesn't matter, an old GRP BM is bulletproof!

if you sail on a small lake, its very hard to beat a british moth.

have seen 861 at the nationals, its a fast boat.

my wife has not looked back since she got one. she now wonders why she wasted so many years sailing a laser! LOL

Thanks for all the advice. I tried a Europe at Grafham and loved it, job done.

I have found my boat to be passionate about and shock horror - it's a composite Europe! Well you can't help what you fall in love with...
