I have currently been sailing a V15. I find myself often sailing alone which is not too fun. Is there a 12-14 ft skiff with an aysimentrical foresail that I can rig and sail solo and enjoy the speed aspect of skiff sailing? From my research, it seems that the MX-RAY is the boat I am looking for but it is out of production.

Thank you for your imput.

If you want to trap then Musto Skiff if not well you are a bit stuck.
although you do find the odd MX-Ray up for sale and then tend to be
good value, look here:mxray/">http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/mxray/
I have an MX-Ray and although fleet racing is out of the question it is one
of the most fasinating boats to sail. And the off wind speed is unreal!

There is a new version of the MX-Ray that has come out in North America
call the Stealth. Look here:http://www.stealthsailing.com

You know I have no idea? It's sort of Laser speed upwind and windsurfer
speed downwind. How's that?

I'd say it was a lot easier to sail than a Moth. And I think that if there had
been more returns the PY would be a bit lower. But that's only an
estimation.

I forgot about the RS Vario, not sure how relavant an Aysmetric is on it.
i.e might be faster just to go straight down hill. Of course i could be
talking out the back of my head, as I've no idea how quick they are.
