Towing a boat backwards isn't the problem, towing a boat with two lorries, now some questions have to be asked!!!

Always wondered how they moved big boats.

The fairline factory is in Corby, not exactly near the sea!!

Edit: just noticed the people on there aswell, and I assume they used that ladder to get on which looks lashed on..

another edit.. on the third look the ladder doesn't look lashed on.. Looks like a pretty wide and not very long boat though but I'm  guessing thats the camera angle

I work for fairline on the bigger range, bigger than most at corby, they are impressive when on there lorries and have convoys of police and haulage companies to remove anything in the way.  But that is seriously wide and dont know if its legal or not.  I can immagine towing high value boats is very stressfull

Ah right, the ones at Corby do only look 50 ft or so but they are still pretty wide loads! Where do they make the bigger ones?

I wouldn't want to tow like that... Looks like a disaster waiting to happen, and i definitely wouldn't be sitting on it just incase it does role off!

Oundle is still far from the sea! Surely the costs of moving them to the sea is higher than just building them near the sea?

you would think so but land on the coast I guess is more expensive and more at a premium and it all started in oundle with smaller boats.  Plus if they moved to the coast I would not have a job  well an apprenticeship.

Longer than it looks in that picture then. Still seems pretty fat for a boat that long! I have given up trying to look stuff up that doesn't have anything to do with work because chances are it is banned and won't work for us!!
