Easy to talk about big name sponsors. More difficult to get them to shell out the cash - ask Ms Edwards...

Difference between false floor and gunwhale height: could present issues... some of the racked boats have pretty low gunwhales, but then for this purpose could you argue the rack represents the gunwhale?

The way around this would be solid "wings"

Very true... the problem is: the cherub In question already has tubular wings

As for the boat being imported: Im not sure which one... I know they guys who've bought her are Alan and Bob but thats about it. Andy_cherub will probibly be able to tell you more as I only spoke to them briefly. They are attacking the issue of getting a UK fleet started pretty hard though with rumors of big-name sponsors lined up for a circuit

T-foils are allowed in cherubs, and not in 12s...but this is pretty painless to swap between

T-foils are NOT allowed. It has been kicked around a bit, however its thought it would obselete the whole fleet overnight like the I14

We keep hearing stories about this, which boat are you buying/bought?

As for side tanks, NO they don't comply, see the cutouts in the gunwales

Any class is going to break the odd stick: its just a question of keeping your eyes open. I've recycle Finn, Laser EPS, Megabyte and Cherub masts for uses that weren't plannned. When I could find a Boss mast I'll be building a nice lightweight launching trolley.

Im probably building from scratch but sourcing an old bit of mast section to base it on is also possible if one happens to turn up in the next couple of weeks
