That was way before your time, les5269. Contender443 sold his boat, Contender K443, to a new member to our club, a dark-haired, smooth, easy going, blue-eyed stranger called Bigwavedave. Unfortunately, Bigwavedave and Contender 443 (the boat) didn't quite see eye-to-eye and BWD sold Contender 443 (the boat). Now, Contender443 (the bloke) has Contender 620 (the boat) but he won't change his username on the forum because he's going to lose his hard-earned title of "Really should get out more" (teeeeheee... amateur... ).
Contender443 (the bloke) is currently Commodore of our sailing club ("Simply call me Sir") and deplores the non-renewal of one of our most notorious members, BWD. Why BWD hasn't rejoined LSC? The man is a mystery wrapped in an enigma, but if I may venture an explanation, it might have to do with a cruel lack of boat. Now, the decent thing to keep such a valued member would be for Contender443 (the bloke) to lend Contender 620 (the boat) to BWD (the legend). No progress whatsoever has been noted in that field, as we speak...

As for me, I'm getting a totally different boat. Wanna know the story?

And I think Contender 443 should lend contender 620 to BWD to see if he can encourage him to re-join your club if that doesn't work maybe BWD can just go for a sail in Contender 443's contender 620 ! I think that makes sense

What is the story on your new boat BNS?? (PS I saw a LOVELY pink COntender sailing out of RQYS in Brisbane yesterday afternoon - it would suit you down to the ground! )
