LOL, I just take pictures. I have had some really good results with AE1.
Whats it called when you print a picture on a big piece of sheet metal? |

It wasn't much fun at the time, having to shout at everyone when you were 18 just out of school and getting all the late night jobs so the chief photographer could bunk off.. Had and used loads of nice cameras, culminating in a Hasselblad set up. I had the lot knicked 500C SuperWide C, Rollei Wide Angle (The Best Press Camera you could use)Rolleiflex. Sinar P (which was recovered I still have it up in the attic somewhere. I gave it all up, just bought a Nikon F4s which was the tastiest motordrive of the period (91-2) and now I occasionally jerk around with a D70 is it I can't keep up with all the numbers, Nikon 6 mega pixel froma couple of years back when they were the fastest refresh rate, I believe Canon currently holds that crown. I never like Canon always too light, I like a bit of bulk to a camera, always used to, one of the key problems with quick action stuff was always camera shake so the heavier the camera the more resilient I always reckoned it was to being jarred by heavy trigger action which you do when you get excited... well I do. This is effectively a form of etching achieved by using a photo resist emulsion painted onto the metal sheet - or any other medium. Edited by winging it |

I have always wanted a Hassleblad, I love the square format ones. I like the Mamiya too. My Canon is heavier than any similar Nikon I have picked up, also with a 400mm IS lens strapped to the front that adds a few kilos, the Image Stabilizer really helps for sailing photography. |

Needs to sail more...

Woo - I can't believe I missed a Mac/PC flamewar on a sailing website...
I'm firmly in the Mac camp, and cant say this forum bothers me, but then there are better browsers than Safari out there... |
