18s and 18ft skiffs are diferent ratface, don't know what the 18 is though... I know Dennis Watson will probably be changing from non foiling to foiling.. But he might not be coming after soem teething problems with the boat!

I think fully foiling is banned! I know it was experimented with, i wouldnt fancy it to be honest that kite in 15 knots on foils ankle breaker! |

Fully foiling isn't banned, just made very unattractive. If I remember correctly you are only allowed one 'foil'.

If you're talking about a national 18, there was one at the Bloody Mary, as we found out when sailing by yelling "what boat is that?" It was a three man boat, two hiking and one trapeze, which looked an odd combination. Looked nice though, was rather quick.
