OK, nailing my Colours to the mast here!  Did anyone even notice the Byte on the topper stand? Was there one? what did the Lightning and Supernova stands look like?

ps. why do you only notice spelling mistakes just after you press the post button

There never is. Everyone knows what they look like and it only takes a few minutes to order one. Betcha they sold more boats there than anyone else.

Totally off at a tangent here - but using the same fitting...for those who want off the boom sheeting and cleating I have actually whipped up a bracket and fitted a swivel jammer onto the underside of the boom on my 29er (totally against class rules I know) and it works a treat - very handy for when you run out of hands to hold all the bits of string with briefly.  Need to move the ratchet block to the transom hawse as well and use an auto ratchet to keep it all running freely.

Anyway - I will crawl back under my rock again now.

Was it my imagination  or  did there seem to be little interest in the laser stand? Is it possible that sailors are becoming bored with them? RS 300's are becoming very popular and Hartley Laminates are struggling to keep up with the demand for the lovely Super Nova. Tasar looks very modern with its new sails and when I'm younger I want a B14.

both the contenders were looking great actualy...

I was seriously unimpressed by the m4 prototype though, spent a while looking at it and its just not a patch on the moths class. It will open up foiling to a wider range of people but it stirkes me it was developed by someone who looked at a moth from a distance and attemped to improve it.

Anyone oggling at Rohan Veals new graphiced-up moth on the ronstan stand might be interested to know it was actualy Si Proppers boat mocked up to look like Rohans.
