I sail with a GPS watch - If they give a Lat/Long for the start line - do youy think that mayh have helped???

On the other hand maybe launching earlier and following may have got you to the start line!!!

Sorry being a bit facitious....

It was foggy, and freezing!!  To wards the end our kite blocks had frozen into ice cubes!!!  My mate had major problems with his canoe !!!  I am a bit peeved off as we were told to launch from the other side of the land fingure, it took ages to get round and as a consequence missed our start! it was so foggy that it was disorientating and Chan i asked a rescue boat which way the start was, they said sorry we are not allowed to help!!!  I started about 30 secs before the 400's so was fighting a loosing battle from the off!  Still i enjoyed it and so did my wife, could of done with it being warmer and a tad more wind!!

I suspect its the first time a Phantom has done at all well at the BM... From the numbers I have this is the first time one has finished in the top 30 since at least 2002.

Watching the forecast I was thinking of opening a book for a N12 or Phantom. Perfet for them ... here's hoping for a bit more breeze next year and come hell or high water I'll be there

How close was the finish?

Phantoms are obviously a good class for light wind racing with the right crew weight, that sail well in cold weather!

Or the competition wasn't there this year!

How many entered the race?
