What a surprise someone is suggesting the MPS' PY is a bit strange.

Not enough MPS' in the US to make a fleet let alone a class but there is a growing class of SwiftSolos. These seem to be doing a number on the MPS in anything up to 20kts. Several hulls under way in the UK now, but not enough to make a fleet either.  Would be interesting to get a good MPS sailor in a Swift and see how it compares. However, there far too much of the bullsh*t about whats the best skiff, single or otherwise. Sailing any kind of skiff or highperformancedinghy is a sh*te load more spectacular than sitting on the rail of a lead mine. Getting this message out should be our misson !!!!!

Christ if a 65yo old fart with weak upperbody strength and a flatulence problem can sail a Swift nicely in F5 then some of those yachties could too.

Sandy

Thanks for all the feedback. Still narrowing it down. The Musto looks interesting. Can the Musto be sailed fairly aggressively without going out on the wire?

Take care because Christ may have loads of experience and be able to sail a donkey in 30+

If you are skiff sailor you may be able to upgrade quite fast , on the contrary it can takes time to get to this level. Anyway it is always exhilarating

... I wouldn't sail a MPS without wiring .

By the way how much do you weigh? It kind of has an effect on which boat
you go for.

Whats your role in the MPS fleet Rick?

Are you being, or have you been, payed by Devoti to promote the class.

I remember you seemed to have an agenda in other threads so lets not get into it again. Why dont you put your affiliation in your posts on this forum just so that people know where you are coming from and can evaluate you comments with the correct weight.

Enjoy your breakfast.
