Yeh im the other student with a 14!! definetly worth it if you can sail
with a mate, otherwise get a moth, lasers are incredibly boring unless
you have a fleet near you, fleet racing in lasers is brilliant and
great fun, but racing against other classes you suddenly realise how
poor they can be, get a moth!!

There are at least two of us on here who are students who own I14s, there are good ones availible for under £1000. I bet that, after 52 pages of answers (and completely off-the-point remarks "omg-yeah-lol"), you'll be advised to opt for something of a compromise. If you get a Laser, you'll take half an hour to find on the beach after lunch: there are so many around! On the other hand, the Moth seems to be a nice origami... |

Im currently a student at uni and with a really limited budget of around £500. Im really keen on gettin a laser or a moth. Ive had a few years sailing experience and im up for a challenge. I would just love some advice on what to get and what sort of money im looking at spending. Any help would be appreciated |
