For £2000, national 12 all the way, could not get a 200 or a decent lark (post 2300) for that price.

RS200 PY 1059, Lark 1073, so not much in it, and in the conditions you describe the Lark might even win more often on the water because of its symmetric kite. Light teams have been successful in Larks, so that's certainly one to consider.

Scorpions are nice and (PY 1056) quicker still, but I'm not sure about the crew weight requirement.

I was thinking about a lark. How much slower are they than the RS200? weight range?

But that's my answer to everything.

Hi, me and my crew are looking for a 2 man non trapeze dinghy. The place where i sail doesnt give you much time to trapeze so its not really an option. Id probably prefer symmetric as all the classes at the club are symmetric. Me and my crew are both 15 and reasonably experienced. Not fussed on sailing in handicap either. Together we weigh 18 - 19 stone ish. Something fast (well faster than gp14s solos etc). There isnt many out there that i know of but if nothing comes up we may be able to get one with a trap.

Any ideas? Price range is about £2000 maybe a little more!

Thanks
