You have to allow pop-ups, and it takes a while to start - but it's worth it.

The sail looks like a huge asymetric - and below a beam reach that's all you need I guess.  Certainly my mainsail doesn't do much when the kite is pulling us along. 

Lovely long flat luff to create roll over vortices, so probably works a treat on a really deep reach.

Whereas the Indonesian version ... it's soo wrong, how has it lasted so many centuries?
