ps... love those old road trailers that were built by well meaning civil engineeers in their backgardens,,, you know the ones, they weighed more than your boat and car together and sank into the tarmac or ground in the boatpark!
Feeling sorry for vegans since it became the latest fad to claim you are one

saw a Morgan (old one at that) being used to tow a big fishing powerboat once, that was amusing...  also saw a 21ft trailer sailer (big ugly thing) being towed down the A30 by a clapped out Citroen two summers ago

"Ok, Whats the most extreme car thing people have seen towing boats?"

Extreme in a bad way? I used to tow a Flying Fifteen with a 990 cc Daihatsu Charade - up one of the most notorious hills around (ie about 3km long, and steep enough that it used to get used by mags testing 4WD towing capacity).

I love the smell of clutches in the morning...........

Not true - Cayenne can take a towbar

I used to have an old Tasar (which was light), an old road trailor (which wasn't) and a 1.0 Fiesta (which was crap).

I was picking up the boat and struggled to get up Detling Hill (Kent) towing the trailor only! At one point I had to change down to 1st gear and  the rest of the journey was just as much fun.

amazing how many of these fantastic efforts are out there... just 'cos you stuck a big spoiler on it mate, it's still a crappy nova underneath, just like big bass speakers in the back shelf - cool if you've got a car you want to have people look at you in, not cool if you're crusing the high street in a badly bodged fiesta

... now where did I put that spray paint I need to touch up the sharks teeth under the bow????

I've outdragged Saxo's etc away from the lights in the Impreza with the boat on the back just to prove a point....should have seen their eyes....   And his chavvy Girlfriend in the back was giggling her head off when her "cool" boyfriend, in his "cool" car, was made to look an idiot....
