Trying to order 2 pairs of Aquastraps from their webpage but there is no shipping configured for Singapore. So I can't place the order. Wrote them 2 emails and got no reply. Such poor customer service. Does anyone know of any chandler / reseller where I can order the product? Thanks for your help.

I had the SHOK foot loops on my cherub and I swear by them! You dont want your foot sliding out, but you do wana get it out when you piss it in! On my 12ft skiff I just have loads of hose tubeing along the side of the boat, I wana change them all to Shok - but the wheelie bars are only thin diameter carbon tube, so the SHOK wudnt attatch - perhaps that Aqua jobby will!!!

Time will tell unless Simon wants to develop some for the 12's

PS - also I prefer to have my footloops vertical, as if the boat is flat and you are flat wiring you want to be able to pinch your toes. If they are angled then your foot will fall out!!

Different on different classes - but if your boat is sailed ontop of you upwind, then just off vertical foot loops will ensure you foot to fall out when flat on the wire!!! Sorry Tim, works for cherubs, not sure about the musto guess thats just flat all the time- but think some 14's are sailed ontop too.

Thinking about the angle of them it could be worth getting a pair of the footstraps which just attach by velcro so you can try different things out. They only work with racks as they wrap round the tube but my friend has some and they seem pretty good. No idea how much they were but I think they're made by Magic Marine.

On my mates cherub he has the velcro ones and when he first attched them they kept on slipping so now they are cable tied on so are adjustable but don't slip.

Nothing worse than getting the kite up to find the footloops upside down

I've only sailed with the footstraps I mentioned a couple of times (on an 800) but I didn't have any problems with them twisting around. If anything they were hard to twist with the velcro undone.
