Yes a report on the performance of the Brits is most interesting but I was not commenting on that rather the presentation - I'd have rather seen a headline like "Up and coming british youth achieves an excellent 7th at the Laser World Championships"

Putting the achievement in contect of the fleet rather than just saying he was the best brit - all the brits could have been at the back of the fleet ...
