My first car was an ancient mini and my first boat an equally basic mirror of similar vintage. Furthermore, in my first month of ownership I managed to put a large dent in the wing or the mini and a hole in the bow of the mirror. With a bit of patching the car could still be driven and the boat sailed.

Dont think mine match up

Musto skiff, new and very well looked after and an old VW transporter van def not new and badly looked after.

but I would rather spend my cash and get my adrenalin fix by going fast on the water rather  than by breaking the law on the road...

Yeah, cos why spend money on the car as long as it runs when you could spend it on the boat instead.

Laser II / Ford Cortina - used to be loads of them about, now you hardly ever see one.

or,

Osprey / VW Beetle - good old classic, recently re-vamped, new model not so popular with original owners

My turbo diesel Ford Focus doesn't really go with my B14, but you can squeeze a B14 main in it (right down the passenger footwell, touching the back window!)

B14's alter-ego would be the old-school Audi Quattro - one of the first true performance cars, big and powerful and still faster than everything modern except a small minority.  Basic engineering relying on sheer power to provide speed!

Mybe a UR Quattro, but they are as rare as Rocking horse poo !  I14's are not

I've got an Impreza WRX.  Goes like stink, kick in the back acceleration and will bite you if you get it wrong; Very nimble around the corners and a Joy in Snow.

My Inter 17 is not quite so nimble around the corners and I don't like sailing in the Snow.  Otherwise very similar

Wanna learn to Ski - PM me..
