tack'ho    here is one for you.who is undercutting the RS boats with foriegn inports? I may be mistaken but I though RMW built some of the RS range! and if you want to see mass prodution boats coming in from the far east i belive laser have started, another well know builder had an example made which they rejected cause the standard was so bad I would sugget once the quality level is high enough you'll see the majority of SMOD coming in from low labour cost contries.and are the new lower labour cost built boats any cheaper??? As for the price I doubt existing designs will be reduced intially, the consumers have already shown their willing to pay that price, but as newer boats come in at lower level, this could have an effect on existing prices. I believe that this desire to reduce labour costs is the main driving force behind the move to roto-moulding. What consumers should worry about is the effect that shipping these products inside an extremely hot container on the deck of a ship in the tropics will have.
