"And the elasticated trapeze ropes. If you didn't see it you'll be wondering what the hell I mean!"

I saw them and they were very clever, seems to solve a lot of trapezing problems in one simple step! I am DEFS putting them on my boat. If someone has any insight into exactly how they were made (as i think I'm right in saying they don't come off the shelf like that) then I am all ears!

The super slim boom was a work of art. I liked that a lot...

...along with just about every other feature of the boat....

A very cool boat indeed. Sorry I didn't take any photos of whole boats. My degree makes me focus on the technical details so I have a blinkered view on life!

Thanks for all you have said about the 14 I am the lucky one who gets to helm her this year for the owner Adam Ovington. The coolest bit on the boat I think is the supper slim boom and the low lead ratchet block for the main!

Not sure what else looks good on the boat as I have not seen it for a mounth. has any one got any pics of her?

cant wait to take her out for a sail

Cheers

Bov

My favourite part has to be the RS Stand .. it was active every time i walked past it.

Unlike the laser stand (which was set up exactly as last year (probably to the exact centimeter) which seemed rather empty (and surrounded by cat's)

Spent a lot of time at the RS Stand .. and have decided on a Vareo now :)

The Moth looked nice, but I think the M5 (correct number?) stand should have been closer too it.

It was good to see the Finns and Phantoms side-by-side .. That Finn looked pretty sleek with that deck :P

Did you notice the perhaps ironic (BMW) "M3" badges on the bows of the Moth?

I did indeed... the new central wand was looking very tidy too

Not sure about the one piece mast though, but I'll keep that to the mirror forum

An RS600 upwind in the groove is something special. Not sailed anything else quite like it. Looks great in the pics with its nice clean lines too...
