what?

in light winds you sit at the front in a 14, at the front in a 9er, at the front in a cherub.
in big winds you stand at the back in a 14, at the back in a 9er, at the back in a cherub.

My bad... just had a look and the 9ers looks a lot further back than normal but still in front of the crew for normal sailing

You mean like they've had in a 49er for almost 10 years?? Not recent technology unless I've misenterpreted what you've said.

Last time I checked the 9er, along with almost all other boats with self tackers had the jammer just behind the mast. Im talking about the middle of the cockpit, ie undernieth where the mainsheet is taken off the boom

Convience of the car parking is appreciated though- much easier/ cheaper than LBS.

Nothing particularly special but just generaly very well thought out and brand spanking new. A couple of nifty little features like leading the jib sheet back to a swivel jammer in the middle of the cockpit which im blatently nicking for the cherub too...

What was so trick about the Ovi 14?

Any new gadgets or was it just super shiny?
If it doesn't break it's too heavy; if it does it wasn't built right
