Hi I am a 17 year old who is new to the uk coming from kenya. I did most of my sailing in lasers and a bit in fireballs, but now am thinking about trying a new class, would be cool to here peoples opinions on which classes are cometitive, and fun to sail |

well how much do you have to spend
i would say moving up from laser a rs vareo would be a good move then you have a kite as well |

I think you need to be more specific or everyone will just tell you to
get the class they sail and love which may not be the best for you.
Are you looking for Crewed or sSnglehanded? Hiking, Single trap, Twin string? Are you after a kite? symetric/assymetric? Where is it likely to be sailed? |

get a 29er. there competetive, sociable and people of all ages from 14 - 25. there fast and great fun

Since I have not have sailed in a large variaty of boats (just laser 1's and fireballs) I am fairly open to try out various classes, provided that they have an active fleet and you don't have to be too hot to sail them |

Close racing is the main thing although it would be nice to be able to take a mate out on it
