Umm lets just say thats rick's progress is umm.... steady and he enjoys the water. But i think the transition from a 400 to MPS is quite a big one. Plus never having trapezed before might not help

hi everyone.  the b-mary was very exciting  and the only amusing thing being a 29er capsizeing in a very strong wind .  when we first when out there was a nice bit of wind,  well the kite was just filling.  and once it came to our start the wind had died and the race turned into a drift around.  it took us 30mins to reach the windward mark and about 2 hours for use just to get round half of the first lap.   so we decided to call it a day mainly cos our fingers felt like they were going to fall off.   it was a good turn out though with just over 200 boats braving the extreme condition.  the winner was a thames A rater who spanked everyone distpite being late for the start. the high performance fleet was well represented with about 10 inter14's, 4 49er's, 7 29ers, us ,  and the new 29er xx which looks very sexy  and a new 05cherub which was struggling in the light winds.

i will be back next year to see if we can have a good blast round.

happy sailing.  luke
