I am loving that middle photo of the foiling chair... he's got the 'you know it' point going down a treat!

Why on earth would you want to tow a doughnut at speeds of LESS than
15mph? Have these people no idea of fun?

What is fun is when you tow a little inflatable rib about 5-6 foot in length. Behind a 5 metre 50 horsepower rib with some one in it. You then get the boat going as fast as possible and gently steer and see the little rib fly like 6 feet in the air . The Fun is when you get to see their faces tee hee

i want one of them. *ahem* getting back to the original topic: it wouldnt work. moths arent heavy enough to keep momentum for that long and if you had the sails up wouldn't that just be more drag? im not a moth sailor so i wouldnt know but i would have thought no rig would bring the centre of gravity closer to the water making it more stable.

Nope, I stand by my original comment which for accuracy is above. The key bit being COMPARED TO PROPER SKIING. The problem with the foiling garden chair is that (in the video I saw) you couldn't cant it over far enough to go really wide and generate lots of speed.
