Jon

I would be happy to make new sails to the same spec as laser supplied sails for around 66% of the price of new. Have done L2000 sails and have received excellent feedback

If you are interested give me a call details are on my website at www.redeyesails.co.uk

Regards

Andrew Elliott

i did not say it was a high tech sail i meant it was good in terms of durabilty!!

so did I in a roundabout way !!!

"perhaps not Dolphins design and too be fair you get fed up looking at them before its bin time ".

You are the first 5.9 sailer I've ever heard praise the standard 5.9 Jib !!!!, shape is Cr*P from new and openely recognised by the class , but they are all the same !, perhaps not Dolphins design and too be fair you get fed up looking at them before its bin time .

They used to make shockin mirror sails when I was a nipper - giving my age away !!! Swore never to sail with one, magine my horror when sailing 5.9's I had nooo choice .until sported up and used cool Tornado Jibs then sxed up for a cool Hyde .

anyway the jib isnt that bad they have tried new shapes but because its a one design its no real disadvantage!!

i have an sx to play with now anyway so doesnt really matter!

lifes to short to sail slow boats!

Try Banks and Trident - they both do "training" sails.  And so long as no-one notices, you can race them too - and at club level, who's looking!

Try Andrew from Red Eye Sails and tell him I sent you!  He does one-offs, just ask the Cherub fleet...
