you can get new ones you know! Through experience girly products and sailing sont really mix, and never try to sail in a dress, it's really difficult. (don't ask )

I would say, leave it ed and just draw on flowers with crayola...

Sorry, im being stupid now  (that's not unusal for me), but if you don't have a clue whether it'll work then don't do it! Also, the class association may throw a hissy fit if they see a varnished board!!

It depends completely on what sort of varnish and what sort of plastic! Paint manufacturers can advise on what will stick to what sort of plastic, but if you don't know what the plastic actually is you'd have to try to find out.
