Congrats b.n.s!!    That's superb - 5th out of 20, that's really good stuff!! You should come to the Top Club race on 25th (it's in axebridge, where are you?), I'm going and I've never raced before ...I'm so scared   !! Would you be able to make it??!

	did anysone see that massive surf board that like 40 or so people surfed at once, i reckon we could get 40 people into something like a wayfarer or enterprise and have the world record for 'the most people to sail in one dinghy at the same time' record! I'm sure Y&Y would love the publicity!

	It is a trapeze course, and Weds series are on personal handicap. It finishes at the end of August, so people are not too competitive this time of year. Being a novice in a Topper, I had a comfortable handicap, of course! I passed the start line well behind everyone else. I thought I would keep out of the way, since I only wanted to follow the course. I thought I would get lapped by the entire fleet, but only (!) the Laser 4000, Contender, and 4 Lasers lapped me Anyway, at the end of it all, I was 5th out of 20. I still don't know how I got there. But I'll be on the water next Wednesday!!!

	And you're a natural! Coming back to Topper sailing, there are news! I've completed my first race EVER last night!!! Hardly any wind, but hey, I started and I finished! Got to do it again soon...
