just went down to the club after college today, i drained all the rain out of bot the 600 and the 14. i left both boats bow down because i figured they couldn't blow off tyres and come loose that way but there was a lot of rain in them.
600 732, will call it Sticks and Stones when i get round to it.
Also International 14, 1318

Alton Water is usually pretty flat and you don't often see white horses ! This was taken at lunchtime today

your boat is fine chris, its the blue one right near all the 4ks, hardly any boats are over, I checked on mine on my way back from college. hardly any boats are over mainly just the school picos and a few really old boats down the far end of the park. was some good wind, no one out though lol.

I'm really worried for my boat . Not been able to get down to check tie downs etc. Several of the boats on my row I know are not tied down, and the wind has been blowing down the row so if one does go over it will take out a few..

Not seen it this windy in ages, yesterday i didn't think it was that bad till i went for a run and my time was 8 minutes slower than usual (I assume from the wind I was running into..)

its windy at my house, neighbour got his kite out and gaffa taped his feet to his skateboard and had a play

The 14 will be fine, it weighs enough .

I finally got round to tying down FS on Sunday so hopefully it should still be upright.

What you guys done to the 200? You have only had it a month!

I flew my powerkite on the top carpark at Datchet, was funny cos there wasnt a lot of room for the direction the wind came!

Its those Catamarans you want to watch, they flip when the wind gets under them

So, Ratface: you are a member at Mengeham! Do you get down there much?

My boat has had water round the trailer wheels at HISC, and there are a lot of 200's blown over there.

Yikes, just saw one of those wooden palet things fly past my window, not light things either! (it didn't travel far though, came from a couple of metres away in a gust and dropped quickly)

lol altons car park is a bit small... I was thinking the local field as thats only 2 mins away, and altons half an hour away so i wouldn't be able to get there after school!

edit -  I remeber one winter when some guys strapped a sail on a snow board and raced up and down the frozen entrance road towards the dam (before there were speed bumps LOL) and they were clocking over 25mph!!... yes, us suffolk folk let the fresh air get to our head
