	if you relest them all they would all become dirent boats and it would be easer to get rid of them and start a clean sheat

	To make the boats lighter you would have to totaly change the construction methods get rid of the chopped strand mat and start using some woven cloth more foam possibly even some exotics if you wanted a significant change. and you would still have an out of date rig and foils If the change in weight was small why bother, if it was large how would the current owners feel about their boats suddenly becoming obsolite.
	If it doesn't break it's too heavy; if it does it wasn't built right

	5420 you said - keep the 800 49er 14 29er get rid of all the rest we keep the best boats we all have fun and we get biger fleets to race in it all makes sense WHY?! Have you not ever sailed anything but plastic (bar the 14)? Have you not tried a 12footer, 16footer? These are much 'nicer' feeling boats twin/ 3 wire, then the 800 or 49er will ever be! Get out on the water in a DIFFERENT boat and see the world in a whole new light! There is more to life than RS and Tupperwear! Look at the best skiff forum if your worried.

	i did not say i have sailed them i just said i like them i would like to have a go in a 12 16 or 18 foot skiff but they are so reay do you have one i can go in

I dont have one at the moment - Im in the process of selling my 49er to go back to cherubs, but im sailing with a friend in his! Where are you based? Could find a cherub near you and arrange a go.
