I had the choice of using my brothers 3000 when it was too windy to
play with the bigger stuff. That was until we blew out the kite and
snapped the kite haliyard in a mentally windy day. One minute the kite
was there, the next she was gone, we instantly stopped and then swam
 Now we've got one option and its better that way because I love it when the boat tries to scare and kill us.........

BNS, i have a contender as well, but when it is realy windy i take out the laser as it hurts your head less

I thought you sailed a Contender, Mike? With the centerboard sticking out in the middle and the kicker ready to split your skull, there's nothing much else to do on a Contender but sail it!
Mind you, my little 3 year-old slept quite happily in BWD's Contender, in the boatpark, the other day.... So there are good uses to the boat, after all!
