Hampshire. There are a couple of 300 fleets in Chichester Harbour - at Thorney Island & Bosham.

There a few 600's down that way and an open it Paignton next year whee there are half a dozen boats based....some fools talk sense.  LOL

The only non-kite singlehander that's any good in the 21st century is the foiling moth- the rest are all poo really.

I'd suggest you get an RS100, or a Vareo.  Or a Devoti D-One, 700 or Musto Skiff.
 
 
Thats the biggest pile of crap I have heard on here for a long time TT. 
 
Why would a boat that needs an extra sail and still get round a course slower (as per 3 of your examples) be better?

Hello Nick, Yes I did get a 300 and yes it has lived up to my expectations. My one regret is that I'm not a bit bigger and heavier, as I struggle in any winds above 10 or so knots, upwind.
