Ive owned both the Zhik and NP ones and certainly IMHO wouldnt want to pay for the Zhik ones...doesnt matter how good they are comfort wise mine never lasted more than season. Prydes didnt really fit me.
For the type of sailing you do Id have the O'Neil and put rash vests or the O'neil thermo top on under. Trapezing high performance boats I personally find that too much layering gets restrictive.
As for longjohns vs short armed.... my choice short armed as it just protects the shoulders more from the sun ;)

The gul suit looks good and dont so much mind hving no protection on the behind as i only sail a laser for 1 regatta a year aha what about knee protection however, i do spend a lot of time scrambling about the boat ahah

And thank stuart O i couldnt understand why they were more expensive. But which o neil suit ?

I have the psycho II as it comes in various thickness a 5/3 and 3/2...also have a heat...the 3 I have are now over 5 years and only have small chunks out of them. They are really flexible as they are designed for surfers.

BUT I agree with what has been said before try lots on

I would have a look at RipCurl when looking for a very good wetsuit.

Especially their steamers made with the E3 neoprene.

They're expensive, but you get what you paid for : Incredible flexibility (better than anything I've tried) and great thermal comfort.

And if you're willing to sail in Alaska, they have something for you : http://www.ripcurl.eu/?aid=1011 !  Big smile

Try it while it's free!

Zhik for me, amazing freedom of movement and build quality but expensive.
