growing into a boat

If you take your time it still comes up eventually but it takes a lot longer which is good

i'm not supprised u got the spamming notice, recently Knightmare, Carshalton fc, spot, have gone crazy with there posts,

not getting at ya, keep it up gives me something to do, reading thru the posts,

why does the forum need a spamming thing anyway?

Yeah the original def of skiff was just an open boat, one with no decks and or tanks i think. there was something on the 49er thread about that but i thought this was the most relivent post.

No one actualy knows the real definition of skiff I asked on the Musto Skiff stand at show and only one out of three had anyidea and he directed me to 49er forum

K from last time i was looking this up. Julian said this on 49er forum:

My definition of a skiff is a boat that un-sticks!

What that means, again in my sense of the word, is that it freely planes upwind, ok, going further, its a boat that can acheive a level of windward planning so that it becomes more of a tactical tool during a race, rather than something you do for kicks of teh race track.

And downwind, its a boat thats has enough sail area that it pays to tack downwind in just about anything and that and again seriously un-sticks and sails faster than the wind.
