Thats what i thought apparently they have tried the website and have done things as the guide says but its not making a difference.  Again i'm not 100% sure how accurate this is, or how closely their boat is set up to the one that is giving the advise, (strop length etc).  I'd not thought about contacting Hyde i'll let them know and see what happens.

On the ISO Class website there is a guide to sailing with the new Hydes. I have not read it, nor am I an ISO sailor but I would imagine it is a good start point.

Has he talked to the makers? They quite probably need quite different settings and handling as you say. Maybe Hydes could help him?

I have a friend at my local club who about 2 months ago bought a set of the new ISO sails from Hyde, via wet + windy.

Since then they are struggling to get any good boatspeed from them, with the old sails they were competing for line honours with the other fast boats, however now they are finishing with the GP14s and Enterprises.  They claim that the sails just aern't providing the power and that they have read a similar statement about the new Buzz sails.

I'm not to sure myself, i think that due to the quite big changes that have been made with the new sails they must sail differently and need to be set up differently.  I'm just wondering if there are any ISO (or Buzz) sailors out there who are having similar thoughts / problems.
