Thanks for the results alan. Interesting to see that 39 sailors dropped out before the end - I guess that they started, but quickly realised that they weren't going to win - Just like a typical race! |

Thats because I can't spell catarmaran, but I have looked it up, and added it, so no excuse now, not to fill it in |

Iain You can come over and mix up some sand/cement for me. Shovelling a couple of tons of ballast should sort you out. Edited by Skiffybob |

Neat, simple survey alan.fuller - Look forward to seeing the results. TT - Who's Keeley Hazell? - Ah! Just Googled her... It's THAT Keeley! I was shocked to discover that I have the makings of a keelboat sailor. Not good. |

In response to survey ID 9489274 (I truely don't know who you are)
Yes I will publish a link to the results of the survey back on this thread of Y&Y. So far in less than 24 hours I have had 100 responses, a good starting point, and some interesting comments. Responses mainly from hiking dinghy sailors and virtually no keel boat sailors (not that surprised given this forums main participants).Keep the input comming, I will keep the survey open a couple of weeks and then analyse the results. To save you going back a page, the link to the survey is here. |

Try using a big elastic band or cycle inner tube as a resistance. You can hook it around your foot or chair leg while watching the telly. Great for forearms, wrists etc. |
