Not sure that is a fair comparison.

In the early days of the class there were a couple of people trialing small jibs when sailing single handed and they seemed to go OK.

We are not talking genoas here just a small blade ...

You could get some idea of the imbalance generated by sailing an 800/29er/49er without the jib... The reverse situation.

Sounds optimistic to me; the main is hardly un-roached as it is. I'd be very interested to see someone try it.

I haven't read all this thread Rick so it might have been talked about allready... but in my experience a barn door of a fully batten main sail doesn't make for the most happy tacking. If you have to roach up the main to balance the board position it is going to be an unpleasant sailing experience.

The bow fitting is the same as the one on a 29er so just move the forestay to the bow from the existing position on the chute mouth ... next question

The MPS2 concept is to switch the boat from a single handed boat to a two person boat. Like the below, rather than to just sail a 2 person boat without the crew which of course has been done ...

Rick

Unless I missed something earlier, you don't seem to have addressed the issue of the centre of lateral pressure moving forward thanks to the addition of a  jib. How will you handle the lee-helm? The boat has bundles of mast rake already...
