The trick with the big yellow ones is to tape around he join between the yellow and black, getting a rare colur of tape personalises your watch too!

Whilst the Optimum watches are good because of the big numerals and general ease of use, the big yellow variety gradually come away easier from their mounting and for a specialist sailing watch they don't float!
I now have an Optimum 4 but the supplied strap is not very long - not if you want to wear it over a spray top. |

Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else

Only wear it for sailing.
The plastic straps snap after too long in Salt water, and generally dont have enough adjustment to cope with winter sailing kit. Casio watch, velcro strap for sailing, Nice metal watch for every other day. DONE |

£30?! £17.99 in Argos: Personally, I've reverted from a velcro to an original strap - doesn't chew up my cuffs, and lasted more than a year. |

Definately the cheapest casio sea pathfinder watch. You can set a countdown for any time, really handy for pursuit races as well as normal 5-4-1 Starts! Simple to use and solid.
Cost - approx £30 plus you'll need to buy a velcro strap. |
