I guess it has to stay class legal but that dosn't mean they can't create a real eye catching pimped Fireball ... Lepoard skin effect sails with tinted windows of course ... Lurid pink mast and stunning paint job. Spinners on the trolley for sure ... They have to be inspired by these images .... |

They only have a limited time frame, so turning a 70's Cherub into a 2005 rules boat was probebly an unrealistic aim! I agree, though, that the paint job is going to have to be pretty damm special. |

I had assumed they would follow the theme of the TV programme and go way over the top with the pimping ... I'm with Hector, they should really go for it ... I suspect a nice set of LED downlights in the cockpit & wet look leather decks would be the business topped off with a mean sound system ... |

That's A) Boring B) Unrealistic. No matter how good the new sails, mast or fancy fittings, none of those boats will be remotely competative if put up against a New Winder / Vandercraft Etc. So why not have a bit of fun and do something worthwhile with it.? |
