Based on personal experience, of having to strip off a "failed" coat of a 38 footer and having to do it all again I would now always go for Blakes (given the two you have to select between). It was not only the fact of having to strip it all off and start again (using Blakes 2nd time round), but the way I was treated by the manufacturer of the "failed" paint - they could not care less. 2nd time round having switched to Blakes went on no problems and have never used "the other" manufacturer again. i started this thread to see if there was a greater colour choice but having seen both companys choices now i know there isnt, the colours they affer are rubbish, hence why i chose black. TT u love winding me up dont u

Granted but there are 2 blacks in the Blakes range and I expect the only way to tell the difference is to paint each half of the boat with each and take a look |
