Time has come to paint my ok, but i dont know what colour, does anyone know where you can get the actual colours of blakes and internation products, all the online chandlers have the names but no examples.  Please help

Most chandlers that stock them have colour charts. You'll not get reliable colour off the net unless your own PC is properly calibrated, which virtually none are.

i quite like souvineers but i'm probably going to just paint the old girl black, it wont show the tyre marks from our clubs jetty then

Granted but there are 2 blacks in the Blakes range and I expect the only way to tell the difference is to paint each half of the boat with each and take a look

Rupert, garage door paint is pretty good as well.

i started this thread to see if there was a greater colour choice but having seen both companys choices now i know there isnt, the colours they affer are rubbish, hence why i chose black.  TT u love winding me up dont u

Based on personal experience, of having to strip off a "failed" coat of a 38 footer and having to do it all again I would now always go for Blakes (given the two you have to select between). It was not only the fact of having to strip it all off and start again (using Blakes 2nd time round), but the way I was treated by the manufacturer of the "failed" paint - they could not care less.

2nd time round having switched to Blakes went on no problems and have never used "the other" manufacturer again.

Well, blend two times to get a different colour if you like...
