Relaxed Australians gave the Tornado fleet a sailing lesson, while Germans Bronze.

Relaxed Australians Darren Bundock & John Forbes in the final Tornado race of the Sydney 2000 regatta showed that in stronger breezes they can dominate their class.

In a steady breeze of around 12-14 knots, they gave the fleet, minus the Austrian Gold medallist a sailing lesson in the last race of their regatta.

The Australians were far superior on all angles and stretched their lead at every mark.
Immediately after their finish they continued towards the harbour, celebrating by flying a'hull.

Back in mid-fleet to protect their Bronze medal position the Germans Gaebler and Schwall covered Frenchmen Pennec and Guichard through every tack and gybe being a boat length ahead at the 4th mark and two boat lengths ahead at the finish.

Seven races were held over three days at Club Nautico Ibiza Laurent Hay, from France, has won the Spanish Open Finn Championship in Ibiza, Spain.
