Line Honours progressive in the 2000 Telstra Sydney to Hobart race.
Since This morning's report Tasmanian yacht Doctor Who arrived in her home port at 9:27 to be the first boat home in IMS division 1, then Peter Bartels and Stewart Nieman's Terrafirma arrived at 11:26.
At 3pm,two IRC boats, the Swan 46 Aera and Summit Bacardi were part way across Storm Bay. . They have now arrived in Hobart at 15:59 and 16:31 repectively.
Interum, Polaris of Belmont, Kaos and Starlight Express blasting across Storm Bay together., with 30 knots of breeze. Interim arrived at 15:312 and with the 20-30 knots blasting across Storm Bay and the others should arrive soon.
Spirit of Sydney andWhy Do I Do It. (which is a very fair question, in this wind blasted race) are within a few miles of the turning mark also.
Mirabooka, SeaJay, Frontier Economics, Another Challenge, Simply Red, Aurora, Hot Property, BOOTS, Pippin, and B52 are all likely to be in Constitution Dock by early morning.
A shock report was received at the Race Center prior to the sked. that AFR Midnight Rambler was heading inshore to check rig damage. She has now rounded the light.
We've since discovered the retiree is the old Midnight Rambler II, the IOR Farr 40 who unluckily has now retired.
