Several proposals for the 2021 America’s Cup have bases nestled into the hideous backdrop of the Silo City on Wynyard Point. One proposal has three bases in a location extending from the inside left corner of Wynyard Point near the car ferry berth, to beyond halfway up the carpark on the Point and extending over the water.
