Yachts & Yachting Racing Classes Review

by Dawn Hinsley 29 Sep 2006 12:08 BST

It’s that time of year again! The Yachts and Yachting Racing Classes Review is being compiled — an overview of dinghy, multihull and keelboat classes and a good opportunity for you to keep our readers up to date on the activity within your fleet.

Class secretaries will shortly be receiving a letter and form requesting the necessary information. If you are a class secretary and do not receive this, please contact me: email dawn@YachtsandYachting.com or telephone me on 01702 582245 x110

We have tried to make it as painless as possible — you will find enclosed with your letter a two-page form for your class. Your form includes the data for your boat’s specification — please could you check the information in the first section to ensure it is correct and fill in any gaps where applicable. Please note, we publish separate areas for each sail, so unless yours is a development class, please provide us with each area separately. The rest of the spaces on the form are variables that are likely to change each year — these need filling in. The deadline for the return of your form is Monday October 16, 2006.

You can post your form to the above address or fax to 01702 588434. To receive an electronic version drop an email to dawn@YachtsandYachting.com

Please provide us with a portrait and landscape photograph of the class, ideally a sailing shot. Hi-res image files of around 1MB minimum can be emailed to photos@yachtsandyachting.com . If you have any problems sourcing images please do not hesitate to contact the picture desk asap on the above email.

Don’t forget the deadline, Monday October 16, 2006.

And this is FREE editorial so don’t miss out!
