Franco/Italian duo win the Figaro Transat AG2R

A journey of 3710 miles at an average speed of 7.76 knots for the winners, Groupe Bel driven on superbly by the Franco-Italian duo of Kito de Pavant (45 years) and Pietro D' Ali (43 years).

This team has recorded the fastest trans-oceanic crossing of any previous Transat AG2R at 19 days 22 hours and 24 minutes and 30 seconds.

They are the victors in this, the 8th Figaro Transat AG2R which has seen the first four crews arrive in St. Barths in under one hour! This has been a truly amazing race.
