Twenty One Junior Sailors turned up for this years annual Peter Andreae Trophy at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club. Racing in the Club’s Lymington River Scows.

Although the wind was cold, there was a moderately steady Northerly wind giving good racing conditions with only one capsize.

Three sections of seven Junior sailors were made up by age group , Junior, intermediate and Senior and two races were held for each group with the top two boats from each group moving forward into the finals.

Two young ladies, Sophie Weguelin and Robyn Stock showed the rest how to do it, Sophie winning the Trophy.

Overall Results:

1st Sophie Weguelin 2pts
2nd Robyn Stock 4pts
3rd James Rusden 7pts
4th Sasha Bruml 9pts
5th Robbie Urwin 9pts
6th Liam Garrison 11pts

Once again many thanks to all those who helped make this another successful event, particularly Jane Clegg and Wendy Jardine in the Office and Robert Weguelin and Phil Lawrence in the RIB’s.
