A large crowd gathered this morning to welcome teenage sailor Natasha Lambert as she made a magnificent arrival into the PSP Southampton Boat Show aboard her boat - Miss Isle Too. Natasha, who has severe cerebral palsy, sailed her 21ft boat, complete with bright pink sails, into the Show's purpose-built marina.

She was met and congratulated by the President and Vice Presidents of the British Marine Federation (BMF), who also made a donation to her fundraising account. Natasha was joined by her support team including mum Amanda, dad Gary and little sister, Rachel as well as powerboating champion Shelley Jory-Leigh as she made her entrance into the Show.

She recently completed her epic Sea and Summit challenge when she sailed over 500 miles around the South West coast of England to Wales before swapping her boat for her special walking aid, called a Hart Walker, to climb Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in Southern Britain. Through the Sea and Summit challenge Natasha is raising money for the RNLI, the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and the RYA Foundation, as well as the profile of sailing for people with disabilities.

Tickets to the PSP Southampton Boat Show start from £20 per adult with concessions available for over-60s, disabled visitors and groups of 10 people or more. Two children under the age of 15 go free with each paying adult. Advanced tickets can be purchased from www.southamptonboatshow.com.
