Carlsberg don't do sailing holidays... but luckily Devoti Sailing do
Day 2 dawned with some fine Scottish weather.
We did some sailing. It was even more shifty than yesterday. If you were brave enough to bang a corner on the two mile beat it was all or nothing.
Nick Craig was the best of the GBR sailors on day two with a 3rd and a 2nd despite his toilet disaster while out on the water following his terrible bout of gastroenteritis. Charlie Chandler was steady with a 6th and a 7th. Giles Chipperfield sailed an excellent second race to score a 4th. Jon Hammond sailed an excellent first race to post a 10th place.
In total there are five Brits in the top 11 were there are several professional Finn and Laser sailors.
Now... Carlsberg don't do sailing events, but thankfully Devoti Sailing do! The GBR squad have thoroughly enjoyed the free beer and championship meal with our European friends. More importantly we would like to thank the Devoti Sailing trolley dolly Heidi who persevered though the Scottish weather wearing her pink bikini...
