The RYA Volvo Dinghy Show, which celebrates all things dinghy sailing proved as popular as ever this year, as dinghy sailing enthusiasts from across the UK and as far afield as Norway and the United States flocked to Alexandra Palace over the weekend 3 and 4 March.

With some 8,500 visitors attending the show the RYA wants to find out just what people thought of the event and are asking all visitors to take part in a short survey to share their ideas and experiences.

“We have already had some great feedback from both visitors and exhibitors; however we certainly don't want to rest on our laurels and are as keen as ever to keep improving the show for the benefit of dinghy sailors, clubs, classes and commercial exhibitors.

“With this in mind we've created a short feedback survey for you to share any thoughts you have regarding the show as well as your ideas and suggestions for future shows”, commented Helen Waterhouse, RYA Shows Manager.

The survey is available now at www.surveymonkey.com/s/dsv2012 and will remain open until 30 April 2012.

What's more, courtesy of the show's title sponsors, Volvo, every visitor that completes the survey will be entered into a free prize draw to win the use of a Volvo XC90 for a weekend.

If you didn’t make it to the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show we are also pleased to announce that one of the show’s sponsors, Yachts & Yachting, is still giving you the chance to take advantage of their great subscription offer.

Take out a subscription and enjoy a full year's issues of Yachts & Yachting for just £39.50, saving over 35% off the usual subscription rate. Plus, when you pay by Direct Debit you will receive a FREE Gill 10L dry bag.

“Once again I’d like to say thank you to everyone who came to the show this year. Our visitors keep the sport alive and the show buzzing, making it a really great way to kick-start the season”, concluded Helen.
